PROGRAM DETAILS

Hilton Honors offers hundreds of ways to earn and redeem Points. Hilton Honors Members can redeem Points for nearly any room, anywhere, anytime, including the most luxurious suites, using any of our room rewards: Premium Room Rewards, Points & Money Rewards and Standard Room Rewards. MEMBERSHIP EXPIRATION

  • Hilton Honors Points do not expire as long as Members remain active in the program. To keep an account active, Members can stay at one of Hilton's hotels, or earn or redeem Hilton Honors Points within 12 months[2]

POINTS AND MILES

  • Hilton Honors lets you earn Points & Miles from your choice of more than 65 airline rail, and coalition programs around the world. "Double Dipping" permits Hilton Honors Members to earn 10 Hilton Honors Base Points and one mile or kilometer at most partner frequent flyer programs of choice per eligible dollar spent at our hotels.

REWARDS

  • No other guest loyalty program offers more ways to use Points. In addition to reward stays, Members can redeem their Points for merchandise, ranging in value from a few thousand to more than 2 million Points, to make charitable donations or for exclusive experiences like hotel concert events with Live Nation® or a race experience with the McLaren-Honda Formula 1 team.
  • Hilton Honors Auction Platform - It's our mission to give our Members more ways to play. Whether it is through must-see concerts, once-in-a-lifetime sporting events, or amazing culinary experiences - we want to provide Members exciting ways to use their Hilton Honors Points.
  • The Hilton Honors Shopping Mall has several hundred merchandise items for redemption, including Gift cards, electronics, home goods and experiences. Eight-five percent of items in the shopping mall are on someone's Wish List, which reinforces the value of the wide award selection offered to Hilton Honors Members. In 2015, Hilton Honors Members in 74 countries redeemed their Points for more than 98,274 items - nearly $8.6 million - on the Hilton Honors Global Shopping Mall.

INNOVATION

For the past 97 years, Hilton has served as a leader in the hospitality industry. Hilton was the first hotel company to put televisions in its guest rooms, and in 2014, became the first to let guests choose their own rooms via a mobile app. Through the Hilton Honors app, guests are able to make a reservation, check-in, select their exact room, access it via Digital Key, and even order extra pillows, snack or drinks. Through a recent partnership with Uber, Hilton is also expanding the power of the Hilton Honors app beyond our walls by connecting our guests to popular restaurant and nightlife destinations with the Local Scene feature.

Digital check-in with room selection
The Hilton Honors app serves as the "remote control" to our Members' travel experience by putting them in control of personalizing their experience. Digital check-in with room selection - an industry-first - gives Hilton Honors Members never-before-seen access to hotel inventory.  Hilton Honors Members can select the room of their choice from a digital floor plan, and request amenities to be ready in their room prior to arrival at our 4,000+ properties around the globe. Our digital-check in option has proved to be one of our most popular benefits to our Hilton Honors Members. One in four Hilton Honors Members utilizes this tool upon arrival, which comes out to more than 9 million digital check-ins to date.

Digital Key
With Digital Key, guests can access their hotel room, fitness center, pool and other hotel areas requiring a key, using their smartphone. After a long day of travel, guests can swiftly bypass the Front Desk and head straight to their room, using Digital Key to unlock their door. Hilton Honors Members can currently access Digital Key at 120 U.S. properties and over 83 percent of digital check-in users opt in for Digital Key. We intend to roll out Digital Key to all U.S. hotels for all full service brands by the end of 2016.

Local Scene and Ride Reminder
Hilton has also partnered with Uber to take the friction out of the planning process and make unfamiliar cities even more accessible to our guests. This partnership gives Hilton guests the ability to access Ride Reminder, an automated notification to remind them to order transportation to and from the hotel, and Local Scene, an exclusive list of popular restaurants and nightlife locations delivered through the Hilton Honors app, curated based on their drop-off/pick-up popularity with Uber riders. Guests can also request an Uber to these destinations through the Hilton Honors app. This data-driven partnership is an industry-first - never before has any company leveraged Uber riders' most frequented destinations to provide local recommendations. Upon launch, Local Scene drove 80 percent of Uber's new customers, with the top five U.S. markets by use being New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas. 

GIVING BACK PROGRAM

Members can use their Points to donate to worthy causes through Hilton Honors' partnership with PointWorthy, offering Members ways to support the organizations and issues they care about by safely and securely converting their Points into real-time monetary donations. By linking their Hilton Honors account to PointWorthy, Members may select from a catalogue of thousands of accredited local, regional and national nonprofits on issues ranging from education to the environment to hunger.

  • With Hilton Honors, the more often Members stay, the higher the status they'll achieve and the more perks they'll have access to. Members who earn Elite status - Silver, Gold or Diamond - enjoy Hilton Honors Point bonuses, free high-speed wireless internet, complimentary room upgrades (based on availability at the time of check-in), and more.
  • Members can earn and maintain elite tier status or move to a higher elite tier based on stays, nights, or Base Points earned in any calendar year (January 1st through - December 31st).
  • For Diamond Members, access is given to the Diamond Member Desk, which assists with reservations under the Diamond Member reservations guarantee. Members must re-qualify for elite status each calendar year. Once a Member has reached a certain elite tier, s/he may keep that status for the calendar year in which it was earned and the subsequent calendar year.
